The easiest way to understand how to write a CV is to look at examples. Here is an example of a CV generated by Spotlight CV. You'll see some of the key elements are:

1. A narrative. It's really important to think about the story you want to tell about yourself. This will change depending on the company you're applying to.

2. Project-focussed. By showcasing your actual work, you're giving the reader a good sense of what you know how to do and how successful you've been at it.

3. Skills are showcased. To make it as easy as possible for the reader, pull out and highlight the skills you want them to infer that you have. By being explicit, you're handing it to them on a plate and reassuring them you're the right candidate.

4. Verified. This is where Spotlight CVs stand out. You're not only setting out your achievements, you're also showing that somebody else agrees with you. This really helps give your CV credibility.
